Garmin 010-02357-00 Handheld GPS Units Editorial Review
The Tactix Delta is a rugged, durable and comfortable watch suitable for demanding activities. It has features such as compass and mapping functions, Vo2 monitoring and longer battery life. However, it is on the expensive side and not recommended for classified brief, on OP, or sensitive environment. The watch's battery life is impressive and the GPS system has good accuracy. The watch comes preloaded with topographical maps and does not come with preloaded golf courses. It is not solar-powered, but the battery lasts very long. Users can charge it using a special cord that is not easily replaceable. The watch is compatible with Garmin Connect Mobile, which users can sync with other apps like Apple Health, MyFitnessPal and Strava. Some users had issues with the watch disconnecting from their phones and others had poor customer service experiences. However, the majority of users had a positive experience and some described it as "the best watch they've ever owned."
