While the part was better made than the original, some customers noted that the size was not compatible with the Befco C50 mower out of the box, requiring light modification, such as sanding or grinding. One customer found it necessary to ream out the housing on the mower to fit the replacement, while another claimed it was necessary to remove the lacquer coating on the shaft for it to fit properly. Overall though, the product arrived promptly, fit properly, and worked as advertised.
