Sri Swami Satchidananda Philosophy Editorial Review
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is an excellent commentary on the sutras, providing deep insight and context for a better understanding. While there are instances of the author going off-topic and appearing egotistical, the book overall is a valuable resource. It offers more depth than a simple translation and includes stories to aid comprehension. Some readers prefer it to other interpretations that they found to be watered down. The book is accessible and potentially life-changing. However, it could have benefited from better editing, as it is a transcription of the author's talks. Recommended especially for beginners.
