    Answer : The pads are a series of square foam pieces about 1/2” x 1/2”. They are soft like little marshmallows. They should provide the protect you are referring to. Unfortunately, when washed a couple of times, the little pads separate from the fabric and form clumps. I do not recommend these. I the bought the Kuangmi pads that are the best I’ve ever owed. Good luck!

    Answer : I’m 510 and way 160 pounds and small fit me just perfectly I think I will try the large or extra large because they do run a little bit big

    Answer : I would suggest a medium. I have 15 calf and 13 ankle. I ordered large and they are just right

    Answer : They will fit around your calf but will not offer much protection. They are what they say and more of a padding then what a soccer shin guard would offer.
