The pet grooming brush is a great tool to groom pets and keep their matting to a minimum. It does a great job in removing loose undercoat, which helps reduce the shedding that falls all over our homes. It is not painful to use on pets and is safe to use in the direction of fur growth. Although it may pull a little while brushing, it will become smooth as silk after getting all the knots out of the hair. It works wonders on straight haired dogs but does not seem to work on curly haired dogs. The brush may also be used on cats. It is highly recommended for pets with thick, heavy coats.
