1/4" size squares with a 1/4" border on all four sides of the sheet. The baby blue lines have no additional bold lines to subdivide the overall layout.

Do the blue lines fade away when printed?

Not 100% sure. But most inkjet printers will not print certain blue shades. As far as laser jet printers, I have never used a color laser jet.

Is the paper really 50 lbs weight? The only reference to it is in the description that says "50# bright white paper".

I’m not sure what 50# means. But it’s good quality. It can be erased without scuffing or tearing. I’d compare it to good quality copying paper.

Is the pad glued along the 14" or 8.5" side?

I purchased the 11" x 17" size. It is glued on the 11" side.
