Aqueon 100536240 Aquarium Water Treatments Editorial Review
The Aqueon Shrimp Essentials provides essential trace minerals for aquarium water to help support fish and shrimp. It is recommended to be used during water changes or adding water due to evaporation. It is also important for start-up tanks. It is advised to remove carbon filtration for 24-48 hours after introducing the product. The product is safe to use for newly cycled nano tanks, and is all that is needed to simulate RO water. The lid of the product may leak and the dosing amount is set at 5ml per gallon of water. It appears to have a positive reception among customers as it helps with molting and shrimps seem to like it. However, some customers have raised concerns about the leaking lid and the large dosing amount required for larger tanks.
