What is the expiry date of the bread?

Sometimes the date is on the package but if not it lasts a 4 to 6 weeks without refrigeration (or you can freeze and thaw later) Mostly I use it within the month or so that I purchase it as it is sandwich bread an only about 6 slices a pack.

Why are there 5 slices of bread?

I’ve found that if I cut one of the slices in half it fits a typical round lunchmeat VERY well. So, for me, one slice of this bread is equivalent to 2 slices of typical non-GF store-bought bread. But the TASTE & TEXTURE of this is SUBLIME. Especially for GF & it holds up well as a sandwich. I often use it open-faced as well. More protein per slice…
