- Question : How quickly does this food breakdown?Answer : About 1 day. They retain their shape for many hours in the clam shell I use to feed my shrimp. I alternate this food with various dried leaves (amaranth, catappa, mulberry), and the SL-aqua line of shrimp food.
- Question : Does this food have any copper ingredients of any kind?Answer : Yes, this product contains copper sulfate which can be harmful to your shrimp. Please refer to the Ocean Nutrition website and check the ingredients before feeding this to your shrimp.

Ocean Nutrition Shrimp Wafers Food for Freshwater Shrimp 0.53-Ounces (15 Grams) Jar is an excellent food option for freshwater shrimp. The tiny pellets are adorable and loved by the shrimp. The product comes with a little scooper which is quite helpful. However, a customer suggested that one should be careful while using this product for neocaridinas, red cherry shrimp, as every time after feeding, the next day there were 5 to 8 dead shrimps across the bottom of the tank. Overall, this product is a great option for feeding shrimp and snails, as they love the wafers and no mess is left in the tank.
