Since i use mine for one cappucino, i put enough full fat milk to just cover the mechanism before turning it on. It needs to be cleaned between each cup. I love this unit. It is my treat each morning withing spending over $4.00 for a cappuccino.
- Question : How many watts does it use?Answer : Regular 110 USA. But when I travelled to Europe OF course I had to take it along!!!! I just LOVE IT !!! so I bought an adapter. It worked fine.
- Question : Can you use 1% milk?Answer : Use any milk product you want. I use a non dairy and it works beautifully. Enjoy.
- Question : Does it work at 220 volt?Answer : I don’t think so.
- Question : Can you add syrups or sauce to the milk? So add like caramel syrup to flavor the froth and milk?Answer : I haven’t used syrups but I have used flavored creamer just fine, I would think if you didn’t put a lot in with the milk it would be fine.
- Question : Automatic shut off?Answer : Yes it does have an automatic shut off. I have been using this every morning for about two weeks and I am very happy with my purchase.
