- Question : Is this bib suitable for both boys and girls?Answer : Yes, it is essential for babies and toddlers of both genders aged 6-24 months.
- Question : How do I clean the bib?Answer : Wipe up small messes; hand-wash or machine wash; turn pocket inside-out to wash; to extend the life of our bibs, we recommend hang drying our quick-dry fabric; always ensure fabric is completely dry before storing.
- Question : Is this bib safe for my baby?Answer : Yes, it is safety tested by 3rd party labs and complies with CPSC and CPSIA standards for BPA, Lead, and Phthalates.
- Question : Is the back made of plastic?Answer : No, it’s made of one layer of 100% polyester fabric. It can be machine washed but I’d not risk putting it in the dryer. It hangs dry very quickly. I’ve had others that have a plastic like backing and it came apart in the dryer.
- Question : Is it worth it?Answer : They do a great job catching food, easy to wipe down, but I have trouble with all bibs with Velcro, my daughter pulls it off easily.
- Question : Do they smell after washing a couple of times?Answer : No, I’ve washed them maybe 10 to 15 times already and I have not noticed any smell
- Question : What to do if it is damaged during transportation?Answer : I don’t know how great customer service is. I posted a complaint due to the quality and I didn’t receive a response from them.
- Question : Should I get these or the silicone bibs? Which ones work better at catching food messes?Answer : I guess it depends on the age of the kid and if they are feeding themselves. I find these are perfect for catching baby food that I am spoon feeding, but I found the silicone ones are better for catching the toddler self feeding.
- Question : Can you machine wash these?Answer : Bumkins bibs are wipeable and machine washable for easy cleaning so you can use it over and over again. Machine or hand wash; air dry completely before storing.
- Question : Does the waterproofing material contain pfas?Answer : Bumkins waterproof material does not have PFAS.

The bibs are a fantastic purchase for mothers who wish to reduce the amount of time they spend on washing clothes. The bibs are larger, easy to clean, rinse-out, and air-dry quickly. They provide decent coverage, with a wide shoulder and strong Velcro, which prevents the baby from tugging the bib excessively while eating. Although some buyers have complained about the shredding of the lining of the bib, many others have praised them for their excellent quality, especially given the price. The bibs are made of non-cloth material, making them ideal for washing.
