- Question : Does this unit have dual voltage, 120-240v?Answer : I used to have this when I was living in the Philippines (240V) my aunt bought this for me from US (110V) and it worked fine without any converter or adapter. When I plugged in, no short circuit or whatsoever.
- Question : Are the plates 100% ceramic?Answer : The user manual from Conair's website says they are coated, not 100% ceramic. Based on the price I would assume that's true.
- Question : Does this product come with a comb or brush attachment?Answer : No, unfortunately it doesn't come with that.
- Question : What is the lowest temperature setting?Answer : I believe it is 362 degrees.
- Question : Does this flat iron work well with thin, fine hair?Answer : Yes my hair is like that and it's working very well.
- Question : I have 4c natural hair. Will it work on my hair?Answer : I have had better straighteners by Conair, this should straighten your 4c hair but I think it will take some time and it seems to burn the hair a lot. If you don't mind it taking a while and use some heat protector, try it. But with 4c hair I wouldn't take a chance damaging those curls.
- Question : Does it have automatic shut off?Answer : I think so; I believe it is after 60 minutes.
- Question : Does this have an LCD display for temperature control?Answer : Yes, it has 4 or 5 (can't remember) pre-set options for temperature settings. The instruction book makes recommendations as to which temperatures settings to use.
- Question : Can it curl hair?Answer : No, this one is better just for straightening.... if you want one that also curls I would go for the 1 inch :)
