    • Question : Does this plug have the mandatory weather holes in the side that allow wind and rain to get in the breech plug Washington state requires that weather
      Answer : No. Read the new regs, states modern ignition. That, to me, means the weather requirement is no more.
    • Question : Does this plug fit 209 primers?
      Answer : Yes but only for the va optima
    • Question : Does the nipple come with the breech plug?
      Answer : Nope, no nipple, only breech plug.
    • Question : Can you use musket caps with it?
      Answer : I believe you can only use the 209 primer for this particular breech
    • Question : Does this work for a Optima V2? A review said it doesnt.
      Answer : For clarity you can contact CVA directly. Their website has contact info. I can’t imagine it being different. CVA has restored my belief that some companies still honor their products and customers . Contact them.

      Answer : No it does not
