Legendary Foods High Protein Editorial Review
Legendary Foods offer protein pastries that are gluten-free but not kosher certified. The product has erythritol, so those who have issues digesting the chemical should not purchase the product. Despite this, Legendary Foods proteins are said to help with cravings, have excellent macros for an active lifestyle, and taste excellent with no nasty protein aftertaste, especially the chocolate flavour. There are also helpful heating instructions on the back of the pastry wrapper. The product packaging does not clearly detail ingredients, resulting in buyer confusion towards milk and gluten. The product has mixed reviews in taste and texture, with assertions of off-flavour tastes, chalkiness, and slime-like texture. The shipping of the product has also not been upheld to the best practices, with numerous reports of box breakage and seal tampering.
