It’s your standard OCP/Scorpion pattern(color) I had a few tabs made that I use daily on my uniform.

Is this a velcro patch or sew on?

Yes, this patch is a hook fastener patch by default but it can be requested with a sew-on backing.

What is the max number of letters?

I was able to get “Hummingbird” on the patch I ordered. I hope that helps. I believe that was the max.

Does the size change with the amount of letters added?

Don’t think so. The size of the letters might, not sure.

The dimensions of this patch are nearly identical to a ranger tab and it comes in the standard OCP/Scorpion pattern. By default, the patch comes with a hook fastener, but you can request a sew-on backing. The maximum number of letters that can fit on the patch is uncertain, but according to a reviewer, they were able to get "Hummingbird" on the patch they ordered.
