The quickest and simplest way to check toe-in
Product Details
- Rest one of these plates against the tire on each side and measure toe directly using the 2 tapes (included)
- Formed design is rigid for accuracy and stays put against the tire
- Always remember to turn wheels so they are facing straight ahead on level ground and set caster & camber first
- To use, lean plates up against wheels, folded lip goes to the outside - be sure the entire plate is up against the wheel
- Measure front width, then rear: use the slots for the tape measure - subtract one from the other for toe: Larger front width means toe-out

Longacre Frames Editorial Review
These alignment plates and tape measures offer an easy and quick solution for a DIY alignment check. The double-sided tape measures have 1/16 and 1/32 markings and the divisional markings on both the top and bottom sides. It is suggested to have someone help you hold the plate for maximum accuracy. They are compatible with SUV, truck tires and work well if the air pressure is the same across all tires. Although these tapes don't allow you to set absolute center, they are perfect for trackside alignment and to match factory specs. The plates have magnets on one side, making it easy to use solo. They helped one individual save several hours and hundreds of dollars in alignment costs as they only needed minor suspension height adjustments.
