Japan and it’s more accurate than standard quartz or any Swiss (or Japanese for that matter) automatic.

Do the hands move in sweep or in one-second intervals? I do understand that this is a quartz movement.

It does tick but at s much higher frequency than a standard quartz movement do instead of moving in one second intervals it’s broken up into several ticks per second so it’s much less noticeable. It’s 263 hz vs 32 hz for standard quartz. Could probably find a YouTube video showing the movement in operation. Also the seconds for the regular time are on the a sub dial so it’s smaller.

Is the band resizable? How is it resized?

Yes, it is resizable. It has removable links on either side of the clasp.

Are batteries required?

Yes, this is a battery powered mod.

This watch has a retro 1970s design with a clean and funky look. It has a high-frequency quartz movement and the hands are luminescent. The band is resizable by removing links on either side of the clasp. It comes with a steel band and a blue leather strap. Customers have expressed mixed feelings towards the bracelet, with some preferring the leather strap. The provided bracelet is tight, making it difficult to swap with other straps.
