There are no hooks or loops, just soft supporting strips. It is not annoying and made of comfortable material. It can be used to support the sacrum and hips.
- Question : Is it true to size?Answer : If you are a size 12 or larger, the medium (larger-sized) abdominal binder is recommended. It may sound huge at 45-60 inches, but it wraps around you first and secures with the Velcro, allowing for easy adjustment if you gain or lose weight.
- Question : I received mine but both Velcro strips are on one side. Did I get a faulty one or am I missing something?Answer : The binder should have one Velcro strip. The top protector strip may need to be removed to use the binder. If this is what you are referring to, then you have the correct product.
- Question : Can I cut a hole in the binder for a Urostomy pouch just above the belly button?Answer : Cutting a hole into the binder may dramatically affect its elasticity since it is pulled tight. It is not recommended to cut a hole for a Urostomy pouch.
