- Question : Can you tell me the length of time it takes for the target to settle back to 'no swing' for a 4' gong shot with a .22 rimfire?Answer : Will have very little swing with .22. We use 9mm with very little swing
- Question : How thick are they?Answer : Could be 1/4 inch but they are strong and support an eight inch gong. I shot mine three times with a 30 and found small pin holes. Look up a demo on the net. A 12 gauge 00 buck at close range and still hardly no damage. Best thing for the money. My gong swings a little when hit with a 240 gr8 38-55.
- Question : Do these stretch to use as tie downs?Answer : These do not stretch.
- Question : Are these stretchable to use as tie downs?Answer : No, very stiff. They are reinforced to not stretch.
- Question : What size are the holes?Answer : I don't remember exactly, but a 1/2 bolt will fit through it.

The Tactical Scorpion Gear Hanging Steel AR500 Pair Gong Target Rubber Strap Mounts are a highly recommended product for hanging gong targets. They are made of rugged Construction and feel. The straps are very flexible and give easily to impact, avoiding separation from direct bullet impact. They are also self-healing and have been tested extensively to work well even after being hit with a lot of bullets. They settle back to "no swing" fairly quickly, within 15 seconds for a 4" plate hit with a .22 cal bullet. Overall, they are a great option for those who want to hang gong targets in a convenient way.
