- Question : Will the blade scratch my pot when using a handheld mixer to stir soup?Answer : There is a protective cover on the outside of the blade to prevent scratching the pot.
- Question : Can I put it in the dishwasher for cleaning?Answer : The detachable parts yes but not the motor.
- Question : Is this suitable for pureeing soups in Dutch ovens?Answer : Yes, this would be suitable for pureeing soups in a dutch oven. The blender does create some centrifugal pull towards the bottom of your pan/container, but the blade will not be able to come in contact with the bottom or sides of your pot. Just be careful not to get burns from the sides/handles of the dutchoven or any splashes from the hot soup.
- Question : Is this handheld mixer cordless?Answer : No, it has to be plugged in.
- Question : Is the mixer noisy when in use?Answer : I think this mixer is relatively quiet.
