How long to cure on aluminum wheels?

I would say the same amount of time you would allow as if you were putting it on your paint.

For custom scientific application, is this alkali and solvent resistant??

For the most part, I’ve found that nothing you would purposely put on your vehicle phases it.

Will water spots come off after washing or will they etch the coating like many other ceramic coatings?

In my experience, it all depends on how long the water sat on the coating. If it doesn't wash off with soap, get some WSP from undrdog and it should remove any remaining water spots.

Will this add a gloss to matte paint?

It will not gloss it up, it will just deepen the color.

How long does it last?

Depends on the manufacturer and percentage of graphene dioxide. Most will last between 5-10 years.
