The soft touch finish to adjust grip is also a plus. The clutch grip style and the ability to stack them together make it an improvement over traditional mic stand designs. The stand is easy to adjust to match different heights, making it ideal for children and adults. The only downside is the joint where the threaded plug at the bottom meets the tube wobbles, and it may result in poor mic placement. However, the stand's grip-clutch mechanism for raising and lowering the mic is intuitive and smooth.
