The Thrustmaster Viper TQS Mission Pack is a solid option for those who want to simulate flying the F16 in DCS. The throttle moves smoothly and all the buttons function well. The ergonomics are excellent, making it comfortable to use for long periods of time. However, compared to the TM Warthog, the build quality of the TQS is not as impressive. It feels lighter and has more plastic components. Some of the buttons, specifically the counter measures, feel excessively stiff. The LED lights for the gear also do not work, but this issue has been reported to TM support. It is important to activate the virtual buttons through the TM software to fully utilize all features of the TQS. One downside is that it tends to move on a desk, but this can be fixed by using adhesive strips or Considering a mounting option. While the TQS is expensive, it is worth it for those who primarily fly the F16 in DCS. However, for those who want to fly other planes, the TM Warthog is recommended. Overall, the TQS offers a realistic and enjoyable flying experience, but the build quality may not meet expectations at its price point.
