    Answer : The active ingredient is 100% DEET.
  • Question : Can it be applied to synthetic clothing?
    Answer : No, it should not be applied to or near acetate, rayon, spandex or other synthetics.

    Answer : The twin pack contains two 4-ounce pump spray bottles.
  • Question : Is this product waterproof?
    Answer : No it isn't and likely should not be anyway because it is somewhat toxic if it comes in contact with eyes so it has to be rinsed out with water as quickly as possible. If it was waterproof that would complicate things and require a neutralizing agent.
  • Question : Does this product have a bad smell? Is it oily?
    Answer : This product has little smell and is a little oily. However, it may not work for everyone as it didn't help one user much against mosquito bites.
  • Question : How many applications will I get with the 3 ounce pump spray bottle?
    Answer : The label of the 4 oz non-aerosol, Maxi-Deet pump spray does not indicate the # of applications. For full-body application, the best guess would be 8 per ounce. It works well and is effective.
  • Question : Can I use this product to repel indoor mosquitoes or go to bed with it?
    Answer : Max Deet can be used any way you want except drinking it. It works indoors or out and is very effective. It doesn't stain clothing or even bed sheets. Works well for repelling mosquitoes even in the jungles of Central America.

    Answer : We would not recommend using this with a diffuser. This is a topical insect repellent and we would recommend following the application instructions for use.

    Answer : It might be the inability to have it in stock, otherwise, contact the seller for more information.

    Answer : Unknown. Only the two ounce size was purchased.
