- Question : Hi, How do I tighten the nut underneath the faucet? The faucet is still loose even with the screws on each side.Answer : The directions show how to install the faucet. I believe that the two screws are just the final adjustment part. The main section that they go into should be tightened up to where it just touches the bottom of the sink and then you use the screws to finally hold everything in place. It has been a while since I installed the faucet, but that is what I remember. The instructions are pretty good so you should read the installation part again to get it right.
