I've had this frame for little over a year and it is the squeakiest frame i've ever owned :( It's extremely loud during 'adult activities' and is becoming more obnoxious just sitting on it or when moving around during the night. Other than that, it's a very sturdy bed and has held up this long.

No sinking has been noticed. It has more number of slats than required, but make sure to follow the requirements of your mattress when assembling.

Does the mattress slide off?

Yes, it will fall since bed will collapse during the assembly. Replacement slats sent are also short.

Yes, it comes with tools to build it.

How hard is it to put together?

It was very easy to put together. Just make sure to read the instructions carefully and follow the numbered steps.
