AQUA-TECH Filters Editorial Review
The Aqua-Tech Power Aquarium Filter is a 20/40 model pump and filter that is designed to hang on the back of a tank. There is no adjustment for water flow but it is very quiet when in use. It comes with an intake tube that is adjustable and has an extension, adapter and bottom strainer (approximately a total of 10-12 inches) and is not submersible. The sponge is not infuse with carbon and needs to be cleaned frequently for optimal performance. Overall, this filter can work well and is a good value for its price, but there have been reports of issues with the design, including falling apart after cleaning, strong suction power and sucking up small fish.
