The Schwinn Hazel Kids Bike is a nice looking bike that is very sturdy and great for the price. The paint job, seat, and handlebars make it look like a classic Stingray from the 70's. However, if one isn't handy with tools, it will require a trip to a bike shop before the kids can ride it because there isn't any grease on the bearings. Furthermore, it occasionally arrives with a bent frame, dents or dings, and with missing or broken parts. The size is an issue for smaller kids or borderline adult-sized kids, and the seat is not adjustable, making it difficult to change the height for smaller children. Some customers reported that it was difficult to assemble and transport, and that the bike had some significant damage such as bent wheels and scratches upon arrival.
