Question : Can this product be used for sharp curves?
Answer : No, it is not intended for sharp curves.
Question : What is the recommended method to clean this product?
Answer : Clean with acetone, mineral spirits or 91% rubbing alcohol (any solvent that evaporates quickly).
Question : Do I need to prime this product before painting?
Answer : No, there is no need to prime. However, if using an oil-based paint, prime with Kilz.
Question : Is there any way to paint it with water or oil based stain?
Answer : Our flexible polyurethane moldings are waterproof and do not absorb any water or oil based stains (so those are not recommended). Gel based stains will get the best results. You could also paint our flexible moldings. Thank you -Flexible Millwork
Question : Are 90 degree corner pieces available?
Answer : (seller here) We might be able to custom make you 90 degree corner pieces but we will need to know the radius measurement of the inner edge of the flexible T molding. Please contact us for further information. Thank you -Flexible Millwork
Question : Can I get longer runs? I need 180"
Answer : (seller here) The longest piece we can make is 144" long. Please contact us over the phone for further questions. Thank you -Flexible Millwork
Question : Hi, does this include the track for instillation? Thanks.
Answer : (seller here) This item does not come with a track for installation. Most customers use a gel based glue/adhesive like Liquid Nails or Loctite PL premium adhesive to bond to sub-surface if small finish nails are not possible to use. Please contact us for further information. Thank you -Flexible Millwork
Question : Our living room carpet abuts and is about 1/2" higher than a hardwood floor. Will your product work with that difference in height?
Answer : If one floor surface is 1/2" higher you need to look for a "reducer" type of molding. Our flexible T molding is made for surfaces that are on the same level/plane. Thank you -Flexible Millwork (seller)
Question : Can this form around a 10 inch radius corner?
Answer : (seller here) No, a 10" radius corner is much too tight of a curve. Minimum suggested radius is a 30" radius. Do not use this for a 10" radius curve. Please contact us because we might be able to make a custom pre-curved piece that will work. Thank you -Flexible Millwork
Question : I have a few random angles….can I cut this to fit? Is it easy to cut?
Answer : Absolutely. I put this on a curved surface and had different angles on each end. Very easy to cut any way you want. Very pleased. Was exactly what I needed.
Question : Can you use this for a straight run, such as a doorway, or only for curves?
Answer : (seller here) Yes, you can use this item for straight runs :-) Thank you -Flexible Millwork
