Customer Experience and Reception: SmallRig Clamp is a versatile support system for various devices such as smartphones and small-sized digital cameras. It is made in China and delivered in good condition. However, it is not compatible with the Blue Yeti microphone and unable to hold a DSLR. The clamp can screw into the Insta360 One X2 camera and fit on the Manfrotto super clamp via the 1/4 threaded hole. It needs to be carefully tightened while clamping on a 2" diameter tube, as it can become unstable. In terms of water resistance, it is not clear, but it can hold a light mount during scuba diving. The clamp is reported to be sturdy and strong in any position, with a positive locking action. It can hold selfie sticks as a second arm and can add monitors or light to a tripod or a light stand with ease. The tension on the clamp is adjustable and locks into place with a single turn of the knob. It gives a little extra bit of length that one is looking for, mainly for top-down or straight-forward angles. Some customers are disappointed with their purchase due to the cheap materials and flimsy feel of the clamp. The clamp kept sliding out of place, making it difficult to adjust and provide a secure hold.
