The sticks would likely poke through if stepped on. The instructions state no shoes on the mat.

Will this mat slip on vinyl plank flooring like my yoga mat does?

Our exercise and yoga mats are not suitable for vinyl flooring. They are designed for use on concrete, hardwood floors, and carpets.
