I only used Maxigro on all my veggies in coco, soil and Kratky. Maxigro did very well when I adjusted dose as plants progressed. I used faucet water with a 24 hr leaching process and the only leaf discoloration was on my cucumis sativa but that's not unusual. I got male and female flowers with just Maxigrow, no bloom. grew indoors under 2300lum/5000kel LEDs. - Question : Will this dissolve in cold water?Answer : Yes, it dissolves readily in cold water.
- Question : Come with feed chart?Answer : No. The website has the feed charts. There can be some trouble accessing the chart if you have an agressive fire wall.
- Question : Can it be used in a soiless media?Answer : Yes, we use it for the Kratky method. Check out YouTube for this easy and inexpensive soiless grow method.
- Question : Is it more cost effect for powder or liquid nutrients?Answer : It goes farther and seems cheaper and better, but I have found I spend way too much money on ph up now for the salt based powder brings the pH way down.
- Question : Come with a general guide feeding chart?Answer : We just followed the package directions for initial mixture for our size fontainers Best thing to do is find user group on line or YouTube that has same type set up and plants grown. That is what we did.
- Question : Why is the kool bloom powder 2-45-28 but the liquid is 10-10-10?Answer : The Liquid KoolBloom is 0-10-10. To answer your question, it is because they are two significantly different products, rather than the liquid and dry form of one product. They serve different purposes, are meant to be used at different times, and - in short - are in no way interchangeable.

The General Hydroponics GLCMBX0008 Maxigro, Maxibloom, Koolbloom Combo, 2.2 Lb Fertilizer is a popular fertilizer with customers praising its fast dissolving ability and effectiveness in fertilizing plants.
