I had 2 th8a shifters. I punched out that plastic insert because it does nothing. The mounted the shaft from my th8a and this part is ugly, I drilled out both sides for the cover bolts. used a threaded rod and 2 nuts, trimmed both sides down and also used some jb weld. been solid for months now.

Where can I buy or find the extension piece? Because my shifter is too low

Yes it is blue but it will work for the 13 10 and 18 when you set it up in the option

Does this work with the Th8a ?

This works with ATS and may work for ETS but I don't know. The blue switch is for high & low and the paddle is for low & high gears hope this helps..

you can have whatever you program in your game controls, and what is your actual shifter is capable to do. This is just a shift knob attachment with 2 extra switches connected via a separate USB cord

How would one go about putting this on top of a normal shifter extension piece?

i used one rubber band around the shifter extension piece and slipped the USB - Schaltknauf (ATS Gear switch handle) over it. It is not perfect and maybe i will have to use a second rubber band to hold the new USB ATS Gear handle firmly in place. By the way i was not able to get the 2 switches working but honestly i did not spend too much time making it work either. Too busy with other things in the moment

The USB-Shaft knob is a shifter attachment with two additional switches connected via a separate USB cord. It seems to be a real shifter which adds extra realism to ATS. Though some adjustments might be required, it works straight away in American Truck simulator and ETS2. The range selector can be programmed and set up using in-game options. Some modifications might be necessary for the mount depending on the shifter. One user has found the connection between the attachment and the Logitech shifter to be loose. The price is Considered expensive.
