- Question : Is the PVC shiny or does it have a matte finish?Answer : The PVC looks fairly matt now but the exact finish cannot be recalled.
- Question : Do you secure this by slipping the vinyl corner poles over treated wood 4x4s embedded in concrete?Answer : The anchors are put in the bottom of the arbor after sealing them at the ends. The wood option was not used and anchors furnished were secured in concrete.
- Question : Can I get the steel ancors for this arbor?Answer : Steel aussie augers will not work. The Vienna comes with ground mounting stakes included in the box or you can use 2x4 wood posts (not included), both of which can be put into a concrete footing. Please refer to the instructions for more details.
- Question : Can the Cottage Picket Wings attach to this arbor?Answer : No, the Picket Wings require a 4" X 4" or 5" X 5" arbor post and the Vienna only has a 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" post.
- Question : Are the 4 posts for this the same thickness as a normal 4" fence post, and can this PVC arbor be stained?Answer : The posts are more like 3.5x2. Vinyl is more likely to be painted with epoxy primer and top coat than stained. Staining the vinyl might be a challenge. The arbor comes in white color.
- Question : Does this arbor come with posts or something to anchor it to the ground?Answer : It comes with anchors or you can purchase a 2x4, cut it into 10" to 12" pieces and insert them in the bottom of each post. The legs can also be cemented into the ground.
- Question : OVERALL DIMENSIONSAnswer : The dimensions listed (width 24 inches and length 49 inches) are incorrect. The correct dimensions can be viewed by the picture of the trellis.
- Question : How does the vendor handle missing parts? Do they send the missing parts over?Answer : No information available for this question.
- Question : Gate? Anyone attached the New England Arbors Cottage Gate? Wondering if it works on this model...Answer : The gate and wings are designed for an Arbor with 4"x4" posts such as the nantucket Arbor. Inside dimensions for this arbor is 42". The Nantucket Arbor inside dimension is 52" which would accomodate a 48" gate.
- Question : Can I get extentions for this arbor? and if so what are the best and easiest to install?Answer : Unfortunately, extensions are not available for this arbor.
