I would look for a carbon filter aka carbon scrubber built for your application that has a electric fan. Reason is for carbon to really absorb odors that smelly air needs to be pushed through it.

- Question : is this acid washed carbon?Answer : Doesn’t appear to be. I’ve been using it as a VOC filtration media for my 3D printer and no rust issues or anything like that. I’d recommend washing it before use to get the carbon dust out though.
