IPPODO TEA CO. Matcha Editorial Review

Ippodo is a higher end matcha powder that is well reputed in the market. It has an earthy flavor profile with a hint of sweetness. The tea has very little bitterness and is suitable for those who are not accustomed to strong, bitter flavors. The powder can be used to make both hot and cold tea, and one can make it thick or thin, depending on their preference. The price is higher than other brands in the market, but the quality is well worth it.

Pros

  • Good quality matcha powder
  • Earthy flavor with a hint of sweetness
  • Little bitterness
  • Can be used for both hot and cold tea
  • Can be made thick or thin depending on preference

Cons

  • Pricey compared to other brands
  • Some customers feel that the flavor is not robust enough
  • Small amount for a high price
