The funnel-shaped lid captures steam vapor and drips the liquid back onto the food, resulting in delicious and flavorful meals. This pot can be used on gas or induction cooktops, campfires, and in the oven. However, it is not ideal for baking bread or frying eggs. Generally, a heat diffuser isn't necessary but won't hurt.
