  • Question : Has anyone found an alternate lid for this that has a straw?
    Answer : No and I asked again two years ago and was told they were working on one. At least point I don’t think they are working on it. So I’ve moved on to another brand. Tok bad since I have the 64oz and the 40oz. Disappointed
  • Question : How wide is the opening? Is it easy to get a bottle brush in there?
    Answer : Yup! :) I clean it with the normal dish brush! It is wide enough! Makes it easy to wash, but hard to drink in the car!
  • Question : Can the lid be used as a cup?
    Answer : Nope.... it’s solid with a sea
  • Question : Is the lid plastic or steel underneath?
    Answer : Video could not be loaded
  • Question : Does the roamed use the same size lid as a regular swell? want to use a crazy cap with it.
    Answer : No, the roamed has a larger opening and lid than my 17oz swell. I pretty much only use my roamer now! Best water bottle I’ve ever had.

    Answer : It’s not paint or real wood or even a sleeve. It seems to be a design integrated into the metal. Very real looking though.

    Answer : No. The bottom of the bottle says made in China.
  • Question : Do you sell replacement covers (caps) and rubber handles?
    Answer : You have to call swell and show them proof of purchase and what was damaged and they will send you a new on
  • Question : Is this Roamer safe for long term storage of emergency water in the car?
    Answer : No, S'well products are not meant for long term storage of liquids.

S'well 10540-B17-00820 Sports Water Bottles Editorial Review

The S'well Roamer is a large and slightly heavy water bottle that keeps drinks cold all day, making it great for work or exercise. It is difficult to drink from while driving, but easy to clean. The lid cannot be used as a cup, and there is currently no straw attachment available. The roamer is designed for humans to drink from, and ice can last up to three days. However, it is not suitable for long term storage of liquids. The teakwood design on the bottle is not paint or real wood, but the metal design is realistic-looking. The roamer is made in China and replacement covers or rubber handles can be obtained from S'well with proof of purchase.
