Fluke 1503 Insulation Resistance Tester

The Fluke-1503 insulation resistance tester is an overall great buy according to reviews from this retailer. Customers were pleased with the product's ability to function down to 0.01 M ohms and 0.01 ohms in the insulation and ohms functions, respectively. Additionally, the Fluke-1503 can measure up to 2500 VDC. While one customer received a Chinese instruction booklet, the product was otherwise brand new and in working order. Retired industrial electricians recommended the Fluke-1503, saying it was a cheaper yet efficient way to conduct high dielectric strength resistance measurements. However, one customer complained that the product gave false readings after only one year and recalibration was not covered under warranty. Another customer expressed disappointment at the high cost of the meter without a case.
