  • Question : What type of battery does this use?
    Answer : It is the round button type.
  • Question : Does it come with a user manual?
    Answer : Yes, it comes with a manual. The important information is printed on the thermometer. It also has a doneness chart printed on it.
  • Question : Will this work for fish and chicken?
    Answer : Of course! It will work for anything you are cooking except candy. Some items maybe too thin for inserting down the center. For those things, insert the probe in the center, from the side.
  • Question : Where is this made?
    Answer : It is made in China.
  • Question : Is there a way for it to default to Fahrenheit?
    Answer : You would need to manually place it on Celsius before you use if that is what you wanted. It does not automatically switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
