The canopy can be left in a partially open position, which is convenient for those who want to control the amount of shade they receive depending on their preferences and the wind conditions. The only downside is that the hand crank can only be installed on the left side when looking at the awning from the front. However, the awning is not designed for heavy rain, and although it can withstand occasional rain, it is crucial to avoid prolonged exposure to water.
