However, the efficiency is dependent on a variety of factors such as thermal load, voltage and conductivity. Although, the device is a heat pump which can both cool and heat simultaneously, it has to be used with appropriate cooling. Not all of the reviews were favourable, some customers claimed the device only worked as a resistor, not a Peltier and it required supplementary heatsinks contrary to the advertisement. It is advised that those who are unfamiliar with this technology should avoid purchasing the device.
