Proactiv Washes Editorial Review

The ProactivMD Deep Cleansing Wash is designed to be part of a three-step system for combating acne. Although it is marketed towards women, it is safe for both men and women to use. This product is not the same as the original Deep Cleansing Wash, as it has been replaced by the ProactivMD Ultra Gentle Cleanser. Additionally, it is not benzoyl peroxide-based. Users should not be discouraged if they experience initial breakouts, as it can take up to 90 days for the product to reach optimal effectiveness.
