The trimmer does not work when plugged in without having to wait for the battery to charge. It does come with a cord to charge it, but it can only be run from the battery once it is charged. The charger does not work with worldwide 220 voltage. The trimmer can be used successfully on all body hair, including the pubic region. The blades are approximately 1-1/8 inch wide. The trimmer can hold a charge for a long time and does not need to be plugged in to operate. The package includes a bag to carry everything.
