To use in a small aquariums, add 2 drops of API Accu-Clear for each U.S. gallon (3.8L) of aquarium water. To treat a 3 gallon aquarium you would add 6 drops. Water will clear within several hours. If a second dose is necessary, wait 24 hours before applying allowing time for your filter to capture the larger particles.

    Answer : A little late now... If your tank is only two weeks old it should be cycling and will naturally cloud, give it another two weeks and it should clear up on its own. Then add a clarifier if the problem persists.

  • Question : Sachem or API Accu-Clear water clarifier? any help
    Answer : I have not used Sachem but I am very familiar with API products and this water clarifier does work well in our family 28 gal tank. One word of warning use as directed. If it is too much, it just makes stuff cloudy but your fish will be safe. API products have made my fish happy and keep them in good health. By the way, I forgot to mention our family tank is a 28 gal fresh tropical tank. I am not sure if it works for salt, but fresh you can't go wrong.
