It seems like multithera has higher amounts of calcium, vit e, and d. I used to take only one vita prime a day vs. recommended 2/day and it worked fine. Multithera may be same way -

No. They aren't, I guess you could chew it but it wouldn't taste very good.

I have been taking them for15 years and have never seen or read anything that said they are time released.
