If you wish to use the answering machine system, please make sure that you enable it first. Press ANSWER ON/OFF on the base and the indicator should light up.

The Panasonic Cordless Phone with Advanced Call Block, Link2Cell Bluetooth, One-Ring Scam Alert, and 2-Way Recording with Answering Machine, has an impressive range of features. Call screening function works on both the base and handsets and the call-blocking feature is reportedly very effective, putting a stop to all manner of unwanted calls and robocalls. However, the sound quality and volume can be poor particularly when the speakerphone is used. Also, programming is a little tricky because some of the settings require Consultation of the owner's manual, and are accessed via a sequence of numbers. Some customers report disappointment with the product's technical performance and disappointing ratings on other brands suggest these issues are not unique. Overall the phone system is great for someone who wants a lot of features for their money.
