- Question : Q: Are the pages thick enough or do any kind of inks bleed through?? What about markers?? Do they bleed through?Answer : A: They are the same thickness as yellow legal pads. I use them to create videos for my math class. I work out each problem using a flair pen and they do not bleed through. I have not used a sharpie on them, though.

The Amazon Basics Narrow Ruled 5 x 8-Inch Lined Writing Note Pads come in a six-pack with 50 sheets each, in assorted pink, orchid and blue colors. The whole pad is 5x8 inches including the binding, and the torn-off page measures about 5 in x 7 1/8 in. The pads have staples in the binding and are made in China. The back cover is thick and strong enough for writing without a clipboard. There are mixed reviews on the quality, with some saying the paper is not sturdy enough and curls easily, and others saying it is a good value. Feedback on the perforations is also mixed, with some saying tearing the sheets leaves a rough edge. Nevertheless, the product is said to do the job and the assorted colors are appreciated.
