The Oatey 39012 ABS In-Line Vent 2X2 13/16 is an excellent solution for preventing sewer gases from entering your home. This mechanical device is capable of failing over time, so replacing it periodically is recommended. Though the vent screws into the pipe adjacent to the sink it has worked well for many other types of sink as well. One of the positive aspects is that this is the most affordable option available in the market while providing you with the same functionality as the more expensive PVC valves. The vent also conforms to the product description and is simple to install, making it a great fit for your sink.
