    Answer : I just assembled my box and I am disappointed as I thought it would keep critters (Especially mice) out but the lid does not close tight enough to keep mice out. Only time will tell now I guess. Few smaller gaps in the bottom corners which I will caulk to keep moisture and insects out.
  • Question : Is it easy to assemble?
    Answer : Video could not be loaded
  • Question : Is this waterproof?
    Answer : I keep mine under the eves of my house and we’ve had little rain. It states in the specs that it is waterproof and therefore no mold. I’m very happy with my purchase.
  • Question : Is the storage area completely sealed? I need to at least try to keep bugs & water out of it
    Answer : I have the smaller box and I keep pool towels in it all season. No bugs, no water.
  • Question : Can it be disassembled for winter storage space saving?
    Answer : Yes, no problem. Be careful with the screws when you reassemble it each spring: in the 1st assembly, they cut into the plastic, but in the next assemblies you want to reuse the grooves cut the first time. Using fingers rather than a screwdriver for the first 3 turns should do it.

The EAST OAK 60 Gallon Large Deck Box is an excellent outdoor storage option for patio furniture, cushions, pool supplies, and gardening tools. The box is waterproof and UV resistant, ensuring that the items inside stay safe from water and sun damage. The deck box is quite easy to assemble, and no power tools are required. The lid claps down nicely onto the base and easily opens and closes. It also comes with a lock for added security. The interior dimensions of the box are Length 52 inches, Width 23 inches, and Depth 22 inches. Customer feedback has been mixed, with some customers very satisfied with the product, stating that it was easy to put together, looks great and is perfect for their needs. However, some customers have had issues with defective parts, cracked pieces and pieces not fitting together properly.
